LightAnchor
By introducing the tube shaped ring principle with the ROPEGUIDE 2010 for the first time he cut down on a lot of weight (about 50 percent). He also eliminated the disadvantages of loop (furryness) and rope (highly concentrated load on cambium) plus the intense abrasion of a ring chafing and rubbing against the bark with the new LIGHTANCHOR while combining masterly the advantages of both systems (abrasion-resistance and wide contact surface/24 mm).
All this new advances become possible because of the 8 mm polyamide rope stitched together in three webs. Each end is clasped by an eye enclosing a specially manufactured grooved ring, The load is evenly distributed onto the ring and the rope is protected by the groove (no chafing at bark). This way not only weight is reduced but also tensile strength heightened (>25 kN). Resulting in doubled safety – because the climbing rope not only runs through the ring but also indirectly through the spliced More Infos...
Ropeslider
The Rope Slider is developed by Shizll to do what it should do: lift your knot and transit your climbing line without extra weight and friction at your system. The Rope Slider is derived from a normal pully for under your climbing system and does exactly what a pully should do: lifting your knot when you pull your line through. A pully has several disadvantages, such as causing friction when your line is pulled through against the cheeks of the pully and causing friction in general.
When you use the Rope Slider you can pull your line through in all positions causing equally low friction. As well twists in your line will be less because there are no sharp edges.

Harness TreeAustria 3:
Only 199,00 Eur netto
The third generation of the Austria series offers considerable mobility thanks to the adjustable leg loops. Large rings on each side mean that work positioning is even more comfortable The seat section and the chest harness can be added in a matter of seconds.
The successor of the Tree Austria complies with the following standards for saddle and fall protection harnesses: EN 813, EN 358 and ANSI A10.14-1991.
Teufelberger Videos
Together with the treemagineers Teufelberger produced 2 product videos. Discover the variety of applications of the CElanyard and the abrasion resistance of Roope slings.
ART Ropeguide 2010
The light weight „tunnel“ ring with 50% less weight but comparable strength makes the Ropeguide 2010 even safer. The rope is protected inside the ring and increases the breaking strength of the ring and vice versa. Less weight, higher breaking strength, doubled safety.
The tape sling has been replaced by 2 parallel strands of 8 mm Polyamide rope keeping the advantages of the 2 materials: perfect abrasion resistance and a large contact surface. A small “Fender” behind the “tunnel” ring put the ring in a vertical position and therefor helps retrieving the Ropeguide 2010 from tight crotches.
Features of the Ropeguide 2010:
- Integrated Zip Absorber
- Adjustable length
- Compatible with Doublesnapper-3
- Easy “lifting” of the pulley
- Optimized “choking” thanks to a integrated spring
- Self-blocking mechanism
- Extreme safety and resistance due to combination of “tunnel” ring and rope
- Optimized retrievability thanks to the “Fender”
- Easy loosening of the blocking mechanism when retrieving
- Large, abrasion resistant cambium saver due to parallel sewn 8 mm Polyamide
Wire rope technique „Darmstadt“
Every rope assisted felling technique requires a high attachment point of the pull rope. The DST working method allows you to attach your pulling line as high as needed without using climbing spurs or rope access techniques.
tree save® light
tree save® light combined with 2 and 4t hollow braid is perfectly adapted secure young trees, shrubs, and plant-securing. You only need to cut the protection sleeve, insert the hollow braid and you are ready to install tree save® light. To secure bigger branches or parts of the tree crown the use of support sling is advised.
Impact blocks
Designed for use in the tree care industry when loads may be dropped into rigging with considerable impact forces. The combination of high quality materials and advanced production processes has ensured a rope friendly, durable and robust product. During design each Impact Block has gone through a thorough dynamic and static testing regime, the end result is a highly functional product with an impressive strength to weight ratio.
- Rounded edges to cheekplates maintain low rope abrasion when rope is fed ‘unfair’
- Fairlead flares help maintain high working efficiency
- Thrust surfaces increase tolerance to external loading of spindle and anchor pin
- Lightweight attachment sling facilitates hauling of block, sling and rope to the climber and helps with handling, in tree stowage and workshop storage
- Direct connection to cordage, the anchor slings helps ensure correct neighbour component compatibility
- High efficiency oilite bushings to reduce friction
- Colouring follows EU WLL protocol, Individual serial marking, Made in Wales, UK
Impact block S: MBL: 200kN, WLL: 40 kN, max. rope diameter: 16 mm, weight: 1,86kg
Impact block L: MBL: 300kN, WLL: 60 kN, max. rope diameter: 20 mm, weight: 3.47kg
REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE SELF-INSPECTION for all ABSORBICA energy absorbers
Concerns all ABSORBICA energy absorbers manufactured before May 17th 2011 up to serial number 11137****.
The relevant product references are: L57, L58, L58 MGO, L59, L59 MGO, L59 69, L70120 YG, L70150 IM, L70150 YM, L70150 I, L70150 Y, L70150 YM.
Following a via ferrata accident on Thursday the 5th of May 2011 we launched - by reason of precaution - a voluntary product safety alert to inspect our SCORPIO via ferrata lanyards (L60 and L60CK) manufactured prior to March 2005. This alert was launched on 13th May.
Our internal investigation and analysis of our manufacturing procedures specific to the production of tear webbing energy absorbers has identified a weakness which could explain the defect leading to the cause of this accident.
